Aircraft (Flight) Dispatchers work closely together with the aircraft Captain to insure a safe operation, before and during the entire flight.

They are responsible for flight planning, weather, weight and balance and many other operational decisions.

This is a very responsible and one of the best paying jobs at an airline.
